Linda Sullivan, PT
Linda was introduced to physical therapy when as a hospital volunteer she was afforded the opportunity to observe a physical therapist working with a child. Following that dream, Linda graduated from St Louis University with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy and has always been thankful for the opportunities that this field has provided. Having worked in many different settings and with a variety of patients, Linda has gained a plethora of experience and has completed numerous educational courses in the field of physical therapy.
While enjoying and appreciating all stages of life, Linda has a special affection for the youngest among us.
In the late 1990s and continuing for a decade, Linda experienced a respiratory illness which did not respond to conventional treatment. As she continued to deteriorate, Linda turned her sights to the natural arena and was able to fully recover her health using only natural methods. This prompted her to pursue further education where she earned her CNHP (Certified Natural Health Professional) from Trinity School of Natural Health in Warsaw, Indiana. She continued with Trinity to complete other certifications in Nutrition and in Herbal studies. She also pursued and attained the certification of Digestive Health Specialist from the Food Enzyme Institute in Madison, Wisconsin.
During her quest for more knowledge, Linda read the book “The Brain’s Way of Healing” by Norman Doidge MD. Doidge described the amazing success that Alfred Tomatis had experienced In France with the treatment of autistic children using sound and music. When the opportunity presented, Linda followed this training and is currently a Level 2 Practitioner in the Tomatis® method and hopes to advance to higher levels soon.
